How does it work?

The original content is on the left and the translation is on the right. The content is divided sentence by sentence. This makes it easy for you to manually check it before approving it.

Convertus is a translation management tool. It uses its own translation models or those of DeepL, Google Translate and others, but it enables you to manually check the translation before sending it live.
Convertus is not just a translation tool. It's a translation management software. You can not only translate 280+ languages to any language, but manage your translators, manually check the annotation, and build a Translation Memory that is manually annotated for the highest quality of your domain.
You upload a file, sentence, URL, course syllabus, or email. You get a preliminary translation sentence by sentence with your source on the left, and the translation on the right side. You check the translation, and each approved sentence builds the Translation Memory. You approve it. Next time you have content to translate, the tool checks first the Memory, and then the on-the-fly translation.
It depends much on how many users, the number of integrations (emails, course syllabus, videos, etc.) and the size of the documents.
Currently Convertus platform supports HTML, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), CSV, PDF, URLs, raw text. You can also integrate with many sources.
280+ languages. And Convertus being a Swedish project that started with Swedish universities, the English -> Swedish and Swedish -> English translation quality is among the highest on the market.
You can use Convertus online through a login that you will get post preliminary call. Otherwise you can also get a dedicated installation in case you have strict GDPR requirements.
